[ Decca / 51 CD Box Set ]

Release Date: Sunday 15 December 2013

A limited-edition 51-CD set of legendary recordings celebrating the world-renowned ffss (full frequency stereophonic sound) recordings from the stereo analogue years

Classic-status pioneering stereo recordings from 1954 to 1980, starring a galaxy of internationally-acclaimed artistic talent.

Each CD is presented in a sleeve with original cover art.

Where an original release may have been of short duration due to limitations of the LP a bonus work featuring the same artists has been added.

A 200-page booklet documents the development of stereo recording as it developed in the 1950s.

Full recording information on each disc is included and there are numerous photographs.

Includes the first stereo recordings (1954) and special bonus disc of MONO versions.

NOTE: Outer box has some small damage owing to how the top opens. There are also some minor pen markings....mainly on the outside of the box but I did notice some very small ticks on 2 pages of the booklet. The CDs appear to be in perfect condition although they are presented in cardboard sleeves, which need special care when opening.
