Led by 27-time Grammy winner Chick Corea, The Elektric Band stormed onto the jazz scene in the mid-80s, creating lifelong devotees that include Robert Glasper, John Mayer, and Questlove among The Elektric Band's multi-dimensional fanbase.

The core lineup of virtuosos-Chick Corea on keyboards, John Patitucci on bass, Dave Weckl on drums, Eric Marienthal on saxophone and Frank Gambale on guitar,- seamlessly blended complex compositions with captivating improvisations across five legendary studio albums (also available on Candid) and explosive live performances.

The original group reunited for a series of reunion shows from 2016 through 2018 that proved their indivudual and collective powers remained jaw-droppingly intact. Luckly for fans around the world, the shows were captured by original Elektric Band recording engineer Bernie Kirsch, with the best performances chosen and sequenced by Corea just before his passing in 2021.

Mastered by Bernie Grundman, the 3 LP and 2 CD album features in-depth liner notes from Corea and all of the Elektric Band members. It is a fitting closing chapter, and a must have for any fan of this dynamic and game changing group
