Multi-instrumentalist Greg Johnson is recognised as one of NZ's premier songwriters. Raised in Auckland, Greg became a fixture of the late 80s 'High Street Scene' wielding his Trumpet with Bluespeak, a jazz collective that played the area's nightclubs. It was as a singer-songwriter where Greg shone as an award-winning artist, taking out NZ's top song-writing prize, The Silver Scroll, in 2002 for his song "Liberty". That song features on this compilation as well as his best known tunes "Isabelle" and "Don't Wait Another Day."
