Silent Night - Early Christmas Music and Carols

This is the new album by internationally acclaimed classical harpist, singer and composer Arianna Savall, and her husband Norwegian musician Petter Udland Johansen. The album features exciting new arrangements by Savall and Udland of Nordic and Mediterranean Christmas repertoire by Arianna Savall and Petter Udland Johansen. Includes many well known Christmas favourites such as Stille Nacht (Silent Night), The Holly and the Ivy and El cant dels ocells. Many of the recordings Arianna Savall has performed on have won or been nominated for multiple awards including a Grammy nomination for the record Diaspora Sefardí. Savall has an important presence in Early, Baroque and Classical music. She has performed across the world alongside musicians and groups including Mala Punica and Ricercar Consort.
