David Byrne's Grown Backwards, first released in 2004, is now issued for the first time on vinyl.
Byrne took an unusual approach to writing Grown Backwards, working from the "top down," by humming melodies into a micro-cassette recorder and later unscrambling these to create songs. The result is a richly melodic set of songs that feature strings, rhythm section, and guitar.
Vinyl edition features the original album plus six previously unreleased tracks.
