Dead Man is the 1996 film from acclaimed director Jim Jarmusch [Stranger Than Paradise, Down By Law, Life On Earth]. The film stars Johnny Depp and features performances by the likes of Crispin Glover, Iggy Pop and Robert Mitchum.

This album features instrumental music composed by Neil Young and performed entirely solo, mostly on electric guitar. The only vocal contribution is by Johnny Depp, whose reading of segments of William Blake's poetry is integral into Neil Young's music.

CD package contains a 20-page booklet featuring production photos, liner notes by Jarmusch and two of Blake's poems.
