Terry Riley, purveyor of the groundbreaking In C, turned 80 in June 2015. To mark the occasion the ever-faithful Kronos Quartet offers a new recording of the playful Sunrise of the Planetary Dream Collector, their inaugural Riley collaboration, in a well-varied programme that also includes previously unreleased recordings of "Cry of a Lady" and the mystic "One Earth, One People, One Love".
