English indie rock giants Kaiser Chiefs return with their fifth album, influenced by the state of their homeland: seven years into a recession, people desperate for work, debt-ridden, suspicious of corporations, big business, government, and eager for signs of compassion, understanding, hope.
Reinvigorated and recharged, the band have returned to the same methods and thought processes used while writing debut record, 'Employment'. First album to feature new member, Vijay Mistry. The album title is a reference to Tony Blair's famed 2005 speech on the power of education.
The album was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia - a move that gave the band the opportunity to view themselves from a new perspective.
