Bryce Dessner is a Brooklyn based composer, guitarist, and curator primarily known as a member of The National. The English musician and composer Jonny Greenwood, best known as a lead guitarist and keyboardist of Radiohead, also wrote numerous soundtracks and serves as composer-in-residence for the BBC Concert Orchestra.
This album brings them together and features 3 exciting new orchestral works by Bryce Dessner, featuring himself on the guitar, as well as the famous soundtrack "There Will Be Blood" as complete suite by Johnny Greenwood. The suite has never been recorded in its entirety to date.
The album speaks to fans of The National, Radiohead, contemporary music lovers and soundtrack aficionados.
