Fatboy Slim is the pseudonym of music polymath Norman Cook and the project that made him a global superstar as both a DJ and producer. Starting his career in Hull's indie band Housemartins, Cook's first taste of electronic artist fame was with his Beats International project which had a club hit with the sample-infused "Dub Be Good To Me".
A mix of several genres, that project hinted at the direction that Cook would take ultimately leading to his global hitmaking Fatboy Slim moniker.
A creator of the 'Big Beat' sound hugely popular in early nineties Britain, tracks like "The Rockafeller Skank", "Praise You" and 'Right Here, Right Now", all included here, would become global hits played in clubs, on radio and at major sports events and cement Cook as one of Britain's most consistent hit producers.
