The NZ Music Hall of Fame inductee began his music career as the lead of his Peter Posa Combo, a band that quickly became a function favourite around his native West Auckland. Signing to Zodiac Records in 1960 it was Peter's third single, the 50,000 selling "Wheels", that would showcase his talents to a wider audience. After signing to Viking, Posa released his hugely successful signature tune "White Rabbit".
Both are included here on this budget-priced CD, along with many of the other recordings that made Peter Posa an essential part of the Aoteroa music narrative.
