Dust Bowl

'Dust Bowl' is the twelfth studio release from blues-rock guitarist, Joe Bonamassa, who was awarded by Billboard Magazine as the #1 Blues Artist of 2010.

Working alongside producer Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin) - their fifth collaboration in six years - the record displays the mastery in which Bonamassa fluidly crosses and blends the blues genre. On 'Dust Bowl' he combines the gritty, blues-based tones of his first albums with the genre-defying sounds he's mastered in the years since.

The album also features album a dose of Nashville, with guest appearances from John Hiatt and Vince Gill. Joe's Black Country Communion band mate, Glenn Hughes lends his vocal to the Paul Rodgers-penned Free number "Heartbreaker".

"This is the best album we've ever done," says Bonamassa. "I'm finding more inspiration in storytelling in my 30s, in writing songs that are about something more profound than 'my baby left me.' I like albums that are made with the right intentions and sound organic and a little rough around the edges, like a great band playing live in the room, and that's what we accomplished with Dust Bowl."
