Alive

"After fifteen years fronting the band Live, Ed Kowalczyk has completed his first solo album, 'Alive'. It is no surprise 'Alive' sounds a lot like Live - Kowalczyk was the main creative force in Live, penning a well over 80% of all lyrics and music, which is actually viewed as one of the main reasons for Live parting ways in 2009.

Going it alone has given Kowalczyk freedom to openly express himself through his music; 'Alive' is very much a faith based album sharing his own beliefs. To reflect this, 'Alive' debuted at #6 on the Billboard's Christian Album Chart in the USA.

The album continues the musical journey Kowalczyk begun with Live. With 'Alive' - which Kowalczyk began writing in 2008 - he has managed to create an album that reflects his life and emotions. The music ranges from the slower acoustic to pop, as well as the rockier style he is so well known for writing. Check out great songs, such as the radio hit "Grace", "In Your Light" and "Zion"."
