Making his first impact on the U.S. music scene with his Astralwerks debut, 'Exit', the release quickly announced k-os' pigeonhole-defying capabilities. His subsequent albums, 'Joyful Rebellion' & 'Atlantis: Hymns for Disco', have gone on to cement his position as among the most intriguing + creative talents at work in Canada today...
Born Kevin Brereton, the rapper; singer; songwriter; multi-instrumentalist; and record producer later adapted the spelling of his Christian name to "Kheaven". The k-os pseudonym is an acronym for "Knowledge of Self", although in a later interview the artist also said that it used to stand for "Kheaven's Original Sound".
