Cold War Kids sophomore album 'Loyalty to Loyalty' is an impressive and lushly textured follow up to their critically acclaimed debut 'Robbers & Cowards'. While staying true to their bluesy roots, 'Loyalty to Loyalty' marks a huge musical progression for the band. The Long Beach, CA four piece have created something of a masterpiece; a 13-track album brimming with the poignant, intimate narratives and brooding atmospherics they're famed for.

'Loyalty to Loyalty' is full of bluesy dirges and its rough-hewn guitar play and skeletal simplicity recall Tom Waits' 'Swordfishtrombones'. The lyrics have grown even more sorrowful, there's a woman who contemplates suicide by throwing herself off a bridge ("Golden Gate Jumpers"), a girl obsessed with her violent, tattooed boyfriend ("Every Man I Fall For") and cutthroat underlings who are conflicted about the desire to move up the corporate ladder ("Welcome To The Occupation").

This special limited edition version of 'Loyalty to Loyalty' features a bonus DVD including a 35 minute documentary, studio footage and a Cold War Kids video diary.
