ARRIVAL
First broadcast on 10th November 1994.
When the Reverend Pottle dies aged 102, Dibley expects its new vicar - a nice young man of about 70. What it gets is a whirlwind of a woman with "a bob and magnificent bosom". What she gets is a typical English village parish - quaint, idyllic and stuffed full of idiots.
SONGS OF PRAISE
First broadcast on 17th November 1994
The Vicar is not on keen on 'Songs of Praise' filming in her church. Then she meets the handsome producer and becomes exceedingly keen - though the programme she'd prefer to make is 'Snogs of Praise'. Meanwhile Alice prepares her bible reading - in a version where the S looks like an F, which makes 'suck' a very dangerous word.
