Soma have sieved their back catalogue and compiled some laid back electronic gems for your aural delight. 'Soma Coma' is a sublime collection that flows from beginning to end.

Coming from Soma, a label best-known for it's quality house, techno and leftfield electronic funk, Soma Coma is a collection of the hidden treasures that Soma artists have been concealing on their albums and B-sides since the beginning of the label's history, often undiscovered by downtempo aficionados.

After celebrating 15 years and 200 releases last year, Soma have searched through the vault and put together this compilation of downbeat treats. 'Soma Coma Volume 1', blends uplifting, soulful bliss with deep, moody, emotive melancholia, delivering a sublime collection that flows.

From the opening beatless, hazy melodies of Slam's 'This Is', via Henrik Schwarz's jazz-influenced remix of Alex Smoke and some sprawling downtempo "trip-hop” courtesy of Ewan Perason's former Maas project, right through to the soulful closing number, 'With Respect', from Octogen, 'Soma Coma' is a sublime collection that flows from beginning to end.
