Reminiscent of the vocal stylings of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 'Hit The Floor!' is a clever collision of synthy beats and melodies, which explode in danceable tracks and punk rock anthems.
Vancouver based dance-punk-pop quintet You Say Party! We Say Die! independently released their EP 'Dansk Wad' (Dance Squad) in 2004. 'Hit The Floor!' is their debut full-length album.
You Say Party! We Say Die! have completed two Canadian tours as well as UK and USA tours earlier this year where they made appearances at festivals such as South By South West (Austin, Texas), The Great Escape (Brighton, UK), High-Fi North (New Castle, UK) and the Dot-to-Dot festival (Nottingham, London). They have also supported Pretty Girls Make Graves, SNFU and The Blood Brothers in Vancouver.
