Johnny Cash, the "Man In Black", is one of the most influential musical figures of the last 50 years. The concert on this album was recorded at the Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville in 1976.
It is one of only two of his prison concerts that were filmed for broadcast. It features Cash with special guests Linda Ronstadt and Roy Clark, performing a selection of their biggest hits such as "Folsom Prison Blues", "Orange Blossom Special", "A Boy Named Sue" and Ronstadt's version of The Eagles' "Desperado".
