The concert, taped in Trier, Germany, in 2004 features the talented Japanese Children's Choir from Nagasaki, Japan. The children, ranging in age from 5 to 14, will get you in the holiday spirit as you enjoy their angelic voices singing traditional Christmas songs, including "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", "Deck the Halls" and the "Tulip Song".
Other selections include the world-famous "White Christmas", a great jazz rendition of "Jingle Bells". The André Sisters will get you in the holiday spirit with "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" and "Winter Wonderland". Carla Maffioletti sings "Gesu Bambino", a beautiful Christmas song from Italy, and Carmen Monarcha sings Johann Sebastian Bach's "Ave Maria".
And there's more - Rieu's sense of humour and spirit added to many of his musical selections, colourfully attired musicians and a memorable version of "Hallelujah".
