Their third full-length high quality musical instalment features samples from soft rock and punk legends, American R&B, heavy metallers - even New Zealand's very own John Rowles makes an appearance, as well as Captain James T. Kirk!
''64 - '95' is the third full-length instalment in Lemon Jelly's rich history of quality music.
Lemon Jelly is essentially the pairing of Fred Deakin & Nick Franglen, and their 2005 release, ''64 - '95' is entirely based upon samples swiped from their vast record collections. Each track is built around one single snippet and then fleshed out with the full Jelly treatment.
The title ''64 - '95' signifies the span in years of the various samples they've used, from '70s soft rock legends Gallagher and Lyle, Scottish post-punkers The Scars and U.S. R& B singer Monica, through to none-more-heavy metallers, The Masters Of Reality, New Zealand crooner John Rowles and Captain James T. Kirk.
