Rudolf Innig performs oon the Walcker organ Martinskirche Church

Rudolf Innig studied music education and church music (A exam) as well as musicology (with Professor Dr. Arno Forchert at the Musikhochschule Detmold). He pursued his studies under Professors Gaston Litaize (Paris), Michael Schneider (Cologne, Artist's Certificate in 1972), Hans Martin Theopold and Helmut Tramnitz (Detmold, Concert Exam, 1975).

In addition to being awarded a scholarship by the "Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes" (1971-1975), Mr. Innig won the competition of the Conservatories of the Federal Republic of Germany in the organ category (1975).
He has concertized in almost all countries of western and eastern Europe, in North America, Japan and South Korea. Innig has made radio recordings for various German, American and Japanese broadcasting corporations, as well as commercial recordings of organ works by Olivier Messiaen, Johannes Brahms and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
