"Here is a natural and equally beguiling follow-up to the Arcadia Ensemble's first Naxos collection of Christmas music. Singing, playing and recording are of high quality and so is the documentation."

"Music and singing are simply gorgeous." - Inkpot.com review of the ensemble's Naxos recording of Caldara's Christmas Cantata.

The Aradia Ensemble is a period instrument ensemble specialising in the repertoire of seventeenth (and occasionally eighteenth) century France and England and in contemporary music written for historic instruments.

The Aradia Ensemble has a busy concert schedule in Toronto at the Glenn Gould Studio, plus an extensive touring schedule. It also recently undertook a three-week tour of New Zealand, where the ensemble was featured as a guest artist at the International Chamber Music Festival.

The ensemble has recorded several CDs for Naxos, and every effort has been well received in the classical music press: Caldara's Christmas Cantata: "fresh and lively, with four excellent soloists" (Penguin Guide) Lully's Ballet Music for the Sun King: "delightfully spruce and rhythmically alive playing" (Fanfare)
