"Zacharias and his Lausanne players definitely have a close rapport with each other as is evident in the vast opening movement of KV595. The synchronization between keyboard and orchestra is also evident in the hectic Finale which is almost Curzon like in its poetic intensity."

Mozart made a strong impression on imperials and royals. In 1785 the emperor took off his hat and shouted "Bravo Mozart" in token of his no little enthusiasm for Mozart's piano concertos.

In January 1786 Mozart was composing Figaro, but his work on the opera did not keep him from "making a new piano concerto" on the side.
