Energetic burst of indie noise rock from Brooklyn, NYC
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are Brian Chase (drums), Karen O (vocals) and Nick Zinner (guitars) - they were formed in Brooklyn, NYC in 2001
In a similar vein to The White Stripes (guitar, vocal, drums), and with Karen O sounding very much like a mix of PJ Harvey, Siouxsie Sioux and Chrissie Hinde, 'Fever To Tell' is an album that has got everyone excited, fans and critics alike
It is an energetic burst of indie noise rock and the YYY's have blown audiences away with their raucous live performances
In the US they have supported The White Stripes & Sleater-Kinney and the UK, the John Spencer Blues Explosion
As said by the drummer -
"I like to put our songs into two categories - f**k or fight" ....when people listen to our music they're either going to be f**king or fighting"
