Bunny Walters was a Maori pop vocalist who announced his arrival on the pop charts in 1972, reaching #4 with the powerful hit Brandy. With the backing voices of The Yandall Sisters, the single was in fact his fourth release from Bunny who was discovered at a talent quest
His first single 'Just Out Of Reach' crept into the top 20 in 1969 but the two follow-ups 'Its Been Too Long' and 'Can't Keep You Out of My Heart' all received airplay but failed to chart
'Home Isn't Home Anymore' was released in 1973, and reached #18 while Bunny's last hit record 'The Nearest Thing To Heaven' peaked at #10 in 1974
With such a great voice it is really sad that his recording career was limited to only one album
