The Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet, with pianist Stephen Hough (making his BIS début), here explore the music of Mozart, giving a peerless interpretation of the great Quintet in E flat major, KV 452. The other works on the CD are arranged with great skill and sensitivity by the quintet's flautist, Michael Hasel.
