'I find the Corydon singers' performance of Via Crucis utterly compelling and truly memorable…an essential Passiontide recording' (Organists'Review)

Liszt's fame as a virtuoso and composer for the piano has tended to obscure the fact that he also composed some deeply moving religous choral works, especially the austere Via Crucis - the Stations of the Cross. Corydon Singers with Matthew Best, in their first recording for three years (Matthew is in great demand on the operatic stage!) are powerfully supported by Thomas Trotter's superb organ playing.
