Enhanced CD. music for the Millennium Dome show in London

'Ovo' is the first new Peter Gabriel recording for nearly 8 years; this is not the new Peter Gabriel studio album but the music for the Millennium Dome show in London. 'Ovo' was launched in London for the year 2000. Peter Gabriel wrote all the tracks on the album.

Ovo the soundtrack is a really eclectic mix, key tracks are 10 and 5 (with Liz Fraser) and track 6 (with Peter Gabriel). There is a large interactive component as part of the album, consists of a 5 minute enhanced film which you activate by placing in your computer. This is a montage of filmed pieces of the show/booklet. It includes film shot from the top of the Dome looking down at the show and footage of the 'Ovo Story' as well as the music from the Dome show.

Guest artists featured include Neneh Cherry, Paul Buchanan (The Blue Nile), Elizabeth Fraser (The Cocteau Twins), Alison Godfrapp (new artist signed to Mute), Richie Havens (made his name at Woodstock - the first one!), Iarla O. Lionard (Afro Celt Sound System), The Black Dyke Band (a famous British Brass band), and The Dhol Foundation.
