Digitally re-mastered re-issue. A blueprint for the punk explosion of the early '90s, 'Suffer' was the first Bad Religion LP to employ the dual guitar attack via the addition of ex-Circle Jerk Greg Hetson.

Bad Religion has been stunning the music world by mixing melody, attitude and speed since 1980. In an era where major labels refused to consider American punk groups, Brett Gurewitz formed the incredibly successful Epitaph Records as a medium for their message

Bad Religion's first LP, 1982's 'How Could Hell Be Any Worse', helped define the Southern California punk sound. By 1987, with guitarist Greg Hetson of the iconic Circle Jerks in the fold, Bad Religion crafted the epic 'Suffer', which is often credited for revitalizing the punk movement of the late eighties. The acclaimed albums 89's 'No Control', 90's 'Against The Grain' and 92's 'Generator' followed.

Upon it's release 'Suffer' was hailed as "Best Album Of The Year" by punk authorities Flipside and Maximum Rock 'n Roll and has come to be thought of as having revitalized the languishing punk scene of the mid-'80s.
